Materials Needed To Build A Clock
- 4 Gold ingots
- 1 Redstone dust
Steps To Make Minecraft Clocks
1. Open Your Crafting Menu
To craft a clock, you first need to open your crafting menu in Minecraft. You should see the same grid as in the image below.
2. Add The Gold Ingots And Redstone To The Menu
In the crafting table, add the 4 gold ingots and 1 redstone dust to the grid.
You must add the gold ingots and redstone dust to the grid exactly as shown in the image below. In the 1st row place down a gold ingot in the middle box. In the 2nd row place down a gold ingot in the 1st box, the redstone in the 2nd box, and a gold ingot in the 3rd box. In the 3rd row place 1 gold ingot in the middle box. This is the Minecraft clock recipe.
After you've added the items to the crafting grid as described above, you'll notice a clock in the box on the right.
3. Move The Clock To Your Inventory
Now, simply drag the clock down to your inventory so you can use it.
You're done! You now have a clock! Minecraft clocks are used to tell the in-game time of day by showing the sun and moons position relative to the horizon.
