Materials Needed To Craft A Note Block

  • 8 Planks (any type)
  • 1 Redstone dust

You can use any type of planks, including oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, crimson, or warped planks.

Steps To Make Minecraft Note Blocks

1. Open Your Crafting Menu

To craft a note block, you first need to open your crafting menu in Minecraft. You should see the same grid as in the image below.

2. Add the Planks & Redstone to Make a Note Block

In the crafting table, add the planks and redstone to the grid.

You must add the items to the grid exactly as shown in the image below. In the 1st row place down 3 wood planks. In the 2nd row place down 1 wood plank in the 1st box, 1 redstone in the 2nd box, and 1 wood plank in the 3rd box. In the 3rd row place down 3 wood planks. This is the Minecraft note block recipe.

After you've added the items to the crafting grid as described above, you'll notice a note block in the box on the right.

3. Move The Note Block To Your Inventory

Now, simply drag the note block down to your inventory so you can use it.
