In this tutorial, you'll learn how to make horse armor in Minecraft.

Minecraft horse armor helps to protect your horse from an attack. There are 4 different types of horse armor - leather, iron, golden and diamond horse armor.

You can make leather horse in Minecraft (which we show step-by-step below), but you have to find iron, gold and diamond horse armor (which we show in the video).

Steps To Make Horse Armor

Step 1. Open Your Crafting Menu

To make leather horse armor, let's open your crafting table in Minecraft. You should see the same grid as in the image below.

Step 2. Add The Leather To The Menu

In the crafting table, add the 7 leather to the grid.

You must add the leather to the grid exactly as shown in the image below. In the 1st row place down 1 leather in the 1st box and 1 leather in the 3rd box. In the 2nd row place down 3 leather, one in each box. In the 3rd row place down 1 leather in the 1st box and 1 leather in the 3rd box. This is the Minecraft leather horse armor recipe.

Now that you've added the leather to the grid as described above, you'll notice the horse armor appear in the box on the right.

Step 3. Move The Horse Armor To Your Inventory

After the horse armor has been crafted, you'll need to drag it down to your inventory so you can use it.

That's it! You now have leather horse armor. Minecraft horse armor helps to protect your horse from an attack.
