1 Sugar cane or honey bottle

Steps To Make Minecraft Sugar

1. Open Your Crafting Menu

To craft sugar, you first need to open your crafting table in Minecraft. You should see the same grid as in the image below.

2. Add The Sugar Cane Or Honey Bottle To The Menu

In the crafting table, add the sugar or honey bottle to the grid. In this example, we will be using sugar cane.

You must add the item to the grid as shown in the image below. Place the sugar cane (or honey bottle) in the middle box of the 2nd row. This is the Minecraft sugar recipe.

Add The Sugar Cane Or Honey Bottle To The Menu

After you've added the ingredient to the crafting grid as described above, you'll notice sugar in the box on the right. If you used the honey bottle, you will notice 3 sugar in the box to the right.

3. Move The Sugar To Your Inventory

Lastly, we're going to drag the sugar down to your inventory so you can use it.
