Steps To Find An End City
1. Teleport Through The Portal
After defeating the Ender Dragon, a portal surrounded in bedrock will appear. You can either fly or build over to this portal.
2. Throw An Ender Pearl At The Portal
Once at the portal, you'll notice it is too small to walk through. So, you will need to throw an Ender Pearl at the portal. You will now teleport to a new dimension of the End.
Tip: Increase your render distance to help find an End City that might be far away.
3. Find An End City
Now, you simply search around until you find an End City. It will look like the castle structure in the image below.
And that's how to find an End City! Minecraft End Cities contain some of the most valuable loot in the game, so it's definitely worth the effort to find one.
How many End Cities are there?
While there are only 20 End gateway portals, there actually an infinite number of End Cities in Minecraft.
How do you make an End City portal?
You can make an End gateway portal appear by defeating the Ender Dragon. This portal will take you to another area of the End that has End cities.
How do I leave the End city?
You can leave the End city by simply teleporting back through the End gateway portal that you went through to get there.
