Materials Needed To Create A Crossbow

3 Sticks
2 Strings
1 Iron ingot
1 Tripwire hook

Steps To Make A Crossbow

1. Open Your Crafting Table

First, let's open your crafting table in Minecraft. You should see the same grid as in the image below.

2. Add The Items To The Menu

With the crafting menu open, add the 3 sticks, 2 strings, 1 iron ingot, and the tripwire hook to the grid.

You must add the items to the grid exactly as shown in the image below.

In the 1st row place down 1 stick in the first box, 1 iron ingot in the 2nd box, and 1 stick in the 3rd box. In the 2nd row place down1 string in the 1st box, 1 tripwire hook in the 2nd box, and 1 string in the 3rd box. In the 3rd row place down 1 stick in the middle box. This is the Minecraft crossbow recipe.

Now that you've added the materials to the grid as described above, you'll notice a crossbow in the box on the right.

3. Move The Crossbow To Your Inventory

Simply drag the bow down to your inventory so you can use it in the game.

That's it! You now have a crossbow. A Minecraft crossbow is a weapon that can shoot arrows or fireworks.
