Steps To Make A Furnace

1. Open Your Crafting Menu

First, let's open your crafting menu in Minecraft. You should see the same grid as in the image below.

2. Add The Cobblestone To The Menu

In the crafting menu, add the 8 cobblestones to the grid. You must add the cobblestone to the grid exactly as shown in the image below.

To make a furnace, place 3 cobblestones in the 1st row, 2 cobblestones in the 2nd row (leaving the center box empty), and finally place 3 cobblestones in the 3rd row. This is the Minecraft furnace recipe.

Now that you've added the cobblestone to the grid as described above, you'll notice a furnace appear in the box on the right.

3. Move The Furnace To Your Inventory

Lastly, you'll need to drag the furnace down to your inventory so you can use it.

That's it! You now have yourself a furnace. A Minecraft furnace is used for smelting a block or item to turn them into a different block or item. You can also use a furnace to make a smoker, a blast furnace, and a minecart with furnace.
