Steps To Make A Book
1. Open Your Crafting Menu
Open your crafting table so you see the 3x3 grid like in the image below.
2. Add Papers and Leather
With your crafting table open, we now need to place the 3 papers and the leather in the grid squares, just as they are shown in the image below.
It's important the items are placed in the squares exactly as shown in the image.
In the 1st row place down 1 paper in the 1st box and 1 paper in the 2nd box. In the 2nd row place down 1 paper in the 1st box and 1 leather in the 2nd box. This is the Minecraft book recipe.
After you've placed the items in the appropriate boxes, you'll notice a book will appear in the box to the right.
3. Move The Book To Your Inventory
Finally, click on your book and move it down to your inventory.
You got yourself a book! Minecraft books are used to create bookshelves, enchanted books, enchanting tables, and more!
Minecraft Book Command
You can also use a Give Command for a book in Minecraft. The book command is available in the following editions:

To run the book command, open your chat window and enter the appropriate command below:

You can create a book in Minecraft using either the crafting recipe or command.
