Required To Craft A Bookshelf
- 3 Books
- 6 Wood planks
*You can use any type of wood planks.
Steps To Make A Bookshelf
1. Open Your Crafting Menu
Open your crafting table so you see the 3x3 grid like in the image below.
2. Add Books And Wood Planks
With your crafting table open, we now need to place the 3 books and 6 wood planks in the grid squares, just as they are shown in the image below.
It's important the items are placed in the squares exactly as shown in the image.
Place down 3 wood planks in the 1st row, 3 books in the 2nd row and the remaining 3 wood planks go in the 3rd row. This is the Minecraft bookshelf recipe.
Remember, you can use any type of wood including spruce, birch, oak, dark oak, acacia and jungle wood planks.
After you've placed the items in the appropriate boxes, you'll notice a bookshelf will appear in the box to the right.
3. Move The Bookshelf To Your Inventory
Finally, click on your new bookshelf and move it down to your inventory.
You now have a brand new Minecraft bookshelf! A Minecraft bookshelf is a block that can be used to enhance an enchantment and if needed can be used as fuel.
