Items Needed To Make Chains
- 1 Iron ingot
- 2 Iron nuggets
Steps To Make Minecraft Chains
1. Open Your Crafting Table
First, let's open your crafting table in Minecraft. You should see the same grid as in the image below.

2. Add Items To Make Chains
With the crafting menu open, add the iron ingot and the 2 iron nuggets to the grid.
You must add the ingot and nuggets to the grid exactly as shown in the image below.
In the 1st row place down 1 iron nugget in the middle box. In the 2nd row place down 1 iron ingot in the middle box. Finally, in the 3rd row place down 1 iron nugget in the middle box. This is the Minecraft chain recipe.

Now that you've added the materials to the grid as described above, you'll notice your chain in the box on the right.
3. Move The Chain To Your Inventory
After your chain has appeared in the box to the right, simply drag it down to your inventory for use.
