Steps To Make A Beacon
1. Open Your Crafting Menu
First, let's open your crafting menu in Minecraft. You should see the same grid as in the image below.
2. Add Items To The Menu
In the crafting menu, add the 1 nether star, 3 obsidian, and 5 glass to the grid.
You must add the nether star, obsidian, and glass to the grid exactly as shown in the image below. In the 1st row place down the 3 glass. In the 2nd row place down 1 glass in the 1st box, 1 nether star in the 2nd box, and 1 glass in the 3rd box. Lastly, in the 3rd-row place down the 3 obsidian. This is the Minecraft beacon recipe.
Now that you've added the items to the grid as described above, you'll notice a beacon in the box on the right.
3. Move The Beacon To Your Inventory
Simply drag the beacon down to your inventory so you can use it.
That's it! You now have a beacon. A Minecraft beacon is a mechanism block that shoots a light beam upward and provides status effects like Jump Boost, Haste, Regeneration, Resistance, Speed or Strength to those players that are nearby.
