How To Get A Trident In Minecraft

1. Find A Drowned

To get a trident, we must first find a drowned to attack. If you're having troubles finding a drowned, try searching in the ocean and river biomes. Make sure the drowned spawned with a trident.

2. Attack The Drowned

Once you find a drowned you need to attack it.

Continue attacking the drowned until it dies. Upon death, the drowned may drop a trident. It's only an 8.5% chance of a drowned dropping the trident, so you may have to kill multiple drowned zombies to get one.

3. Pick Up The Trident

When you see the trident appear after killing the drowned, be sure to pick it up before it disappears.
