How To Get Prismarine Shards & Crystals In Minecraft

1. Find a Guardian

We first need to find a Minecraft guardian or elder guardian. You can find guardians near an ocean monument, aka guardian temple, in the deep ocean.

Tip: You can summon a guardian or use a spawn egg if you can't find one.

2. Attack the Guardian

Next, you need to attack the guardian. You'll notice the guardian turn red when you hit it. Keep attacking the guardian until it dies.

Upon death, the guardian will drop 0-2 prismarine shards and/or crystals. If the guardian does not drop anything, then find another one and kill it.

3. Pick Up The Prismarine Shards and/or Crystals

Finally, pick up the shards and/or crystals before they disappear.
