How To Get Sea Pickles In Minecraft

1. Find a Sea Pickle

We first need to find a colony of sea pickles. These can be found underwater in the warm ocean biome or coral reef.

2. Break a Sea Pickle

Next, we simply need to break a sea pickle using the following game controls:

Java Edition (PC/Mac), Windows 10 Edition, Education Edition: left-click on the sea pickle.
Pocket Edition (PE): tap on the sea pickle and hold.
Xbox 360, Xbox One: press the RT button.
PS3, PS4: press the R2 button.
Wii U, Nintendo Switch: press the ZR button.

The sea pickle will break and you'll notice a smaller sea pickle floating in the water.

3. Pick Up The Sea Pickles

Finally, pick up the sea pickle before it disappears. Congratulations, you now have sea pickles!

Sea pickles are commonly used as a light source when underwater and as a smelting ingredient to make lime dye. You can also place sea pickles in a composter!
