• 1 tripwire hook

Steps To Make A Trapped Chest

1. Open Your Crafting Menu

First, let's open your crafting table in Minecraft. You should see the grid in the image below.

2. Add Chest & Tripwire Hook

In the crafting menu, add the chest and tripwire hook into the grid.

Just remember, you must add each item to the grid exactly as shown in the image below. The 2nd row should contain 1 tripwire hook in the 1st box and 1 chest in the 2nd box. This is essentially all there is to the Minecraft trapped chest recipe.

Now that you've added the items to the grid in the correct order (as shown above), you'll notice a trapped chest appear in the box on the right.

3. Move The Trapped Chest To Your Inventory

Move the trapped chest to your inventory so you can begin to use it.

You now have yourself a trapped chest! You can use your Minecraft trapped chest to store items and even as a booby trap for unlucky players!
